An exceptional terroir

The vineyard’s surface covers 1,45 hectare of which 90 ares are being planted. It used to be a plot of Château des Templiers whose total surface is of six hectares. Despite its small size, the vineyard is grand thanks to the terroir.

An excellent terroir of complex soils.

- A sandy-clayey zone which makes the wine strong and powerful and gives it an aroma of black currant and truffles
- A zone of fine gravel due to which the wine receives its deepness and its aroma of vanilla and fruit.
- A zone of coarse gravel which produces strong wines with a perfume of oak and liquorice.
